Online Meeting with federal reserve bank and Department of Treasury

March 10, 2021 – Mr. Ajmal Ahmady, the acting Governor of DAB spoke to the officials of the US Central Bank and Department of Treasury of this county in an online meeting.

The meeting was aimed at establishing and strengthening relations with the international organizations and financial institutions for exchanging information for designing and drafting appropriate monetary and financial policies. Discussions were held in relation to technical cooperation, and exchange of information and experiences.

The officials of the Central Bank of the United States promised to provide all types of technical cooperation, exchange information and experiences with Da Afghanistan Bank and placed emphasis on the continuity of effective communications between the central banks of the two countries.
