Acting Governor of DAB held Online Meeting with Representative of the APG
March 9, 2021 – Mr. Ajmal Ahamdy, the acting Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank held online video discussion with the representative of the APG on money-laundering pertaining to the AML/TF performance of Da Afghanistan Bank.
In this meeting, Mr. Ahmady discussed the performances of FinTRACA in combating money-laundering and terrorism financing, meeting of the High Coordination Commission with the relevant organizations, receiving the requests of law enforcement agencies and responding to them, cooperation and coordination in receiving requests from similar international organizations, and mentioned other legal and regulatory activities. He reassured to achieve the AML/TF commitments of Afghanistan.
